Depression disorder has three main classifications, which are Bipolar Disorder, Chronic Depression Disorder and Major Depression Disorder. Among these three, Major Depression Disorder is considered the severe one thus; it is sometimes called Severe Depression. This classification of mood disorder can be a result of a single traumatic incident, which happened in a person's life. It could be a product of personal discouragements and bad situations. There would be times that Severe Depression could possibly occur without experiencing terrible events. Other times it could also happen on people who are undergoing Chronic Depression as an effect of traumatic experience. Another kind of therapy that works for this condition is the cognitive-behavioral therapy. The cognitive-behavioral therapy works as a treatment for the psychological feature of severe depression at the same time the medication therapy will treat the symptoms of the illness.
